My grandmother's favorite past time is to look for “the best old time songs” that at her seventy-eight years probably makes her a dedicated music lover. As lots of other people of her age she does not even want to attempt using modern technologies to listen to music. When there was the alteration of sound and all the music began being developed on CDs, my grandmother carried on utilizing vinyl.

She gathered a lot of vinyl records during the years, most from her audiophile mate John, whom she called “Jocko” and others from her friends and sons. She has quite a few Elvis Presley albums.
