The XX century brought the difficulty of fuel that citizens require for heating of their houses in winter period. Such materials as squared timber blockhouses and beam frames lost their capability to suit the requirements of contemporary energy conservation. There are provided severe rules for thermal shielding of houses in Europe. Persons need effectual heat insulating materials to implement the demands of these rules. There are established different dimensions of thicknesses for various types of walls. Brick walls must not be less than 150 centimeters, squared timber walls - 50 centimeters and only 15 centimeters for wooden carcass walls.
Generally, such building technology is called a Canadian one. The first frame houses were made in Canada. The notion “sandwich” that emerged in the early nineties defines this feature of panel houses.
A construction that will follow all the modern demands in energy conservation, comfort, ecology and fire safety, must be built appropriate to carcass technique with efficient thermal insulation materials. Read the rest of this entry »
