There are lots methods to determine the structure of protein, but the most suitable is x-ray analysis. In general, x-ray crystallography comprises protein crystallography as a small, but very important segment. The protein is quite complicated substance that has ternary structure, but it's become known only after the research of the secondary structure of protein. Sometimes, on the basis of x-ray crystallography information it is possible do determine the protein quaternary texture, but it is not always the case.
